Hii!!! Today, in this post, I'm going to talk about operating systems.

As I said in my last post, an operating system is a set of programs that manage computer hardware resources and provide common services for application software. The operating system is the most important type of system software in a computer system. A user cannot run an application program on the computer without an operating system, unless the application program is 

self booting.

 The most used operating systems are Wndows, Linux and MacOS. And here you have a picture of a pie chart showing the percentages of each operating system: 

And now I'm going to make a list with some words related to operating systems and ICT:

-Computer hardware

At class we use an operating system called Lliurex and the documents are saved in the hard disk

At home I use an operating system called Microsoft Windows and the documents are saved in the hard disk too.
